Hold OK on a poster to open actions for that item while keeping the browsing screen in place. This is the same general interaction as opening a video's action menu in YouTube.

Use a poster action#

  1. Focus a movie, show, season, or episode.
  2. Hold OK until its action menu opens, then release.
  3. Select the action and press OK, or press Back to return to browsing.

The available actions depend on the item and where you opened the menu.

Open the long-press menu, add a title to Watch Later, then return to the same browsing position.

The action menu keeps the selected poster in context.

Watch state and Continue Watching#

  • Watched / unwatched: apply the action to the selected episode, season, or whole show. A season or show action affects its episodes.
  • Remove from Continue Watching: hide the item from that row without erasing its playback progress.
  • Watch Later: save or remove a selection from the profile's personal queue.

These actions update records on Plex for the active profile. Changing watch state can change where the Atlas opens.

Choose what a short press does#

Continue Watching · OK in Settings chooses between Play immediately and Open details. It controls a normal OK press on that row; the long-press menu remains a separate interaction.
